Blog Entry: I wonder on why I think Ron Paul is sane. Could it be because in my heart I think it will take a drastic push by the government to dig out of the hole it has dug for itself? Perhaps, our country needs a dose of reality. We no longer make the billions of dollars here in the country. Our economy is in shambles and maybe we just need a good slap in the face but Ron Paul is more than a slap...he is like a boulder hitting you on the head saying wake up America. hmm. According to supporters, Ron Paul will bring home all the troops. He wants no oversees bases, even in Korea . He says we have the technology to monitor all these countries from afar. Is that enough for Korea ? If we leave there would not the North Koreans think differently? He also believes in no foreign aid to any country, none whatsoever. He says there is just too much corruption going on in this area. I would tend to believe him there. Ron Paul wants to also take numerous government departments and just retire them. On his list are the Department of Energy, Commerce, Interior, Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Education. This means all the federal land reverts back to the states including national parks. What a change that would be. He says of course this would save millions of dollars. “Centralized planning never works. It was never in the constitution that the federal government would have these powers.” said Paul Kirby a film maker in Nevada . I guess I am still up in the air. I know it will take a lot to get us out of the hole and this man Ron Paul seems to be saying all the right things but is he just too much change? Ron Paul is a man of conviction and he strongly believes in his principles. Is he beyond corruption? Kirby said, “He is the bravest man I have ever heard of because he is willing to stand up to the Federal Reserve and he is incorruptible. Time will tell that who the greater man is. He is not corruptible and because he believes in a principle and he lives by that principle. That is a reason enough to support him.” Well the fact that Ron Paul wants to take on the Military Industrial Complex and big government maybe the sole reason that anyone supports him. The facts still are unchanged. Ron Paul must find another way to get his message across. It must be on the lips of every American. After this election, Ron Paul will not go away. He has assured us this in his son. So read up on him America while there still is a country called America .
