Your Patron Saint of the Year Ministry

This is an introduction to the Patron Saint of the Year Devotion. This is a practice of choosing a particular saint to be a personal holy protector and intercessor for the year. The saints are actually the ones that choose people. This devotion is not new. Sister Faustina wrote about this practice in her diary, Divine Mercy In My Soul. Sister Faustina’s order had the custom of drawing a patron saint, for each individual Sister, by lot each New Year’s Day

Marianne Northrop has been in the ministry of helping people pair up with their patron saints for five years. Saints have lived on this earth and people can relate to their experiences on this earth. Saints draw near to God and through their prayers and devotion to God many people are drawn closer to God. Marianne shares many stories on her blog of how people have connected to saints and gained a closer walk with God through the help of the saints. Many answers to prayer and miracles have been received by people, drawing people to the loving arms of God. In these turbulent times people are hungry for hope and desperately need God’s strength. Marianne’s blog address is http://yourpatronsaint.blogspot.com. Marianne suggests that people research their patron saint to have a clear understanding of their personal patron saint’s love for God. This ministry has blessed many people.

Please read through Marianne’s blog and consider promoting this powerful ministry. Also if you could post a link to Marianne’s blog it would be greatly appreciated. Marianne will gladly add a link to your blog on her blog as well. If you have any questions or need further information Marianne can be reached by e mail at mare54n@gmail.com. This ministry is not only a blessing for Catholics but all people seeking hope in turbulent times and needing God’s love and strength. Your consideration is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Katherine Mikshenas, Friend and Supporter of Marianne Northrop and Your Patron Saint Yearly Devotion
