As Alfred has noted in his blogs the ministry of Jesus has been popping up in the Gospels on Sunday. His short three year ministry has Jesus touching on many subjects. Many of his Gospels appeal to me on different levels. I was reading a recent article in The Messenger that talked about letting God run your life and having trust in God. Life went south for a bit. So many things to say and so many people to talk to that we often forget to tell him. The man upstairs gets left out and we just forget to tell him. God knows you are trying and does not expect us to be perfect. In fact many believe that God gives us points for being as close to him as possible. Prayer is important though to our life if we want to be close to Jesus and our Creator. The more you pray the closer you get to Him. The world seems to be getting nastier each day we flip on that news. It seems to be tragedy after tragedy that continues to air on the tube. When will it end and what can I do to stop it and keep my family safe? Simply put, we will never be safe. There will always be that one crack pot who will seek to destroy society.
