Howard and his belief in Seredipity
Posted On 12/09/2011 09:14:16 by vernpaul

The story I wrote about him in the PVT: http://pvtimes.com/news/man-burro-quest/

I spent three hours of my day and drove 54 miles to meet a man named Howard West. Howard left his home on Nov. 8 on an epic adventure to save his ranch. He is doing this by walking from Tonopah to the Grand Canyon to save his ranch.  It sounds like a dime novel but Howard owes $4,000. He wants to draw attention to himself and sell his books on Amazon.

He says serdipity would take care of him but he gave me the underlying wink and referred to God. Now that is faith. A man in his sixties takes to the road, giving up all he knows on what God told him to do. This is what Jesus is telling us to have faith and that things will be ok. Howard has a lot of faith in God and he is taking this faith on a road trip. He truly believes that God will let him run into the write people and that everything will be ok.

Howard is taking with him his books, which are also on amazon.com. Two of the books are Locked Gates, and another one is called Quicksilver Key. Howard has two traveling companions, his burro Blue Pegasus and his dog, Ezekiel.

Howard left Pahrump, Nev. yesterday on Dec. 7 for Shoshone, California. He should get there on the ninth. Its about a 26 mile walk. He has walkied close to 150 miles now on his journey to the Grand Canyon.

If you want it to be a Merry Christmas for Howard and his companions please buy a book from Amazon.com for under $10.00 and help save a home.
