Temptations

This has been a week of personal temptations. It seems that at every corner this week I was tested to see how strong I was. People came out of the wood work from my past. People I would rather have not talked with. Wanting things I just didn't want to give them anymore. It was easy to tell them no. I have changed my thinking I guess because what once sounded like something wonderful just doesn't seem so good to me anymore. I want to be a good example for my children and someone that I am proud of. I wake up feeling better about myself each day. Today when I looked in the mirror I really liked the woman staring back at me. I feel at peace with myself and I know I am striving to be a much better person.
Mass today was also awesome talked about the 10 commandments. I do try to follow them the ones I could remember it was nice to see them again. They are posted next to the entrance of the church strange but I stopped this morning to take the time to read them before Mass today and the teachings were about them. It seems that God’s message follows what troubles me. Things I need to hear are taught when my heart needs to hear them.
My favorite song was sang today Amazing Grace. I love that song and remember it from my childhood. It brought back some memories of my piano teacher and my cousins grandmother that used to sing at church, two very beautiful women. Both have passed now but were alive in my memory today. I could see them clear as a bell beautiful long black hair smiling as she played the piano. The other short and heavy set gray curls smiling and weeping as she sang to the church. She always wore a floral dress a very classy beautiful woman. I loved that song then and I still love it today. I am off to get things done but want to thank all of you that are saying prayers for me. I have been blessed many times over in knowing you all.
