Today I'm quoting Bishop Fulton J. Sheen. He says that to love anything above us in dignity is to meet the demands of whatever we love. To love anything that is below us in dignity degrades us. If we love what is base we become base; but if we love what is noble we become noble. When a man loves a woman he has to become worthy of her. The higher her virtue, the more noble her character, the more devoted she is to the truth, justice, goodness, the more a man has to aspire to be worthy of her. When lust and sex have become our dominant love, our society will degrade, and it has happened and is still happening right before our eyes. (Bishop Fulton J. Sheen)
