Giving Gets You Hope

As you know I can go on and on when I write. When I feel like writing and I am not sure what I want to talk about or my point may be muddled a bit or I just feel like turning my wheels with the people I love to talk to, I write here in the blog section. The other day I was driving with Terri into the desert with the radio on my favorite station in Las Vegas. It is called KXNT and it is of course a conservative talk show station. Bo is prpbably cringing, but you all know where my heart lies and that is with America. Anyways, I am blogging about what I heard on this radio station. Dave Ramsey was talking about Giving. He said "we need to give if we want Hope". The United states is the biggest giver of all time. Not as a government but as a people. The point being to affect change we can not depend on our government to do the changes. The people must do this. We can not rely on government funds, for if we do then we will be paying for this change for generations to come.
Even if you are broke and have no money then we must give our time. It is only by us looking at the down trodden that are worse off than ourselves will we then know Hope is near by. When we ask for Hope to come, we do not turn to Mr. Obama, but rather think of Jesus and his suffering on the cross, snd then we look upward for hope. Unless we give to others, Hope will only be a dream. Think long and hard about this.
